        September is the month for awareness of Alzheimer’s disease. For common people we must Here are seven early signs of memory loss that may signal something beyond normal aging. Everyone should be aware of this. Early suspicion helps in protection of memory for prolonged times.

1. Frequently forgetting recent events or conversations – needing constant reminders for things just discussed.


2. Difficulty recalling names and words – especially of familiar people, objects, or places.


3. Misplacing items often – putting things in odd places (e.g., phone in the fridge) and not retracing steps.


4. Getting lost in familiar places – disorientation while driving, walking, or navigating routine routes.


5. Trouble following instructions or plans – difficulty completing multi-step tasks or remembering sequences.


6. Repeating questions or stories – asking the same thing multiple times without realizing it.


7. Poor judgment and decision-making – forgetting important details that affect daily choices (e.g., finances, appointments, medication).



    Some memory lapses can be normal with age, but if these signs become frequent, interfere with daily life, or worsen over time, they may suggest mild cognitive impairment or early dementia.
